WEBTOASTER lets you build, manage and update your web site in an advanced, yet extremely user-friendly way.

WEBTOASTER demands no installation of special software and is available everywhere 24/7.

Toaster Newsletters

Send personalized Web Email

With this version, the Toaster Newsletters have grown from simple, text-based mail to a full-blown, web-based mail system.

All mail are now in HTML format. This means that you can edit any mail message, complete with pictures, links and the correct style to anyone as long as you have access to a PC.

As with other content, you set up Mail Templates to make life easier. The creation of newsletters is done in exactly the same way as you create your web content.

All subscribers are automatically members of one global Newslist. Any mail to this list, will reach all active subscribers.

In addition, you may set up separate newslists which consist of specially selected subscribers. This way you may send different letters to different groups and persons. And even though any person may be associated with more than one list, no person will ever receive the same mail twice. You may also send any letter to a single recipient which is not a member of any list.

Although you may send any letter to any group, it is often a good idea to make special mail templates for the different groups.

The Newsletter Interface

You manage newsletters, subscribers and newslists through the PRO Interface (click Toaster PRO at the bottom of this page). Although very similar, newsletters, subscribers and newslists are handled through separate pages.

newsletter page

This is the main administrative tool to both mail and produce newsletters. To produce and edit newsletters you use the same content editor as you use for other content (described here). Just click on 'New Newsletter'. Select a template (if you want), fill in the stuff and click Save.

The newsletter page lets you send any saved newsletter to:

  • All active subscribers ('the global list')
  • One or more newslists consisting of subscribers
  • One or more recipients belonging to the global list
  • One recipient only (manually typed address)

newsletter detail

'Send to list' will present a list of available newslists. Select list(s) and confirm or cancel mailing. No recipient will receive the same email more than once, even if she subscribes to more than one list or has received this newsletter earlier.

'Send to selected' will present the global list of subscribers. Select recipient(s) and confirm or cancel mailing.

'Send to anyone' will present a form where you fill in recipients email address and name.

The subscribers page let you:

  • Add new subscribers (subscribers may also add themselves through any subscription you choose to have on your web)
  • Edit the address, name and organization of existing subscribers
  • Select which newslists any subscriber belongs to

The newslist page lets you:
